At some point in our lives, each one of us sees ourselves in the life of David. His many psalms express the pouring out of his heart to God. Next to our Lord Jesus Christ, God devotes more space of His Word to David (54 chapters in all) than any other Bible character. His most outstanding quality was being a man after God's own heart. Our theme at Arlington this year is "A Heart for God." Over the next 12 months, Pastor Campbell will preach 43 sermons on the life of David and his heart for God encouraging us to develop our heart for God. Join us in the series this Sunday morning at 11.
SUNDAY EVENINGS AT 6 - "Surviving Stress"
You've heard it all before and have even said it:
* "I'm so stressed out!"
* "You are stressing me!"
* "This is stressful!"
* "I'm under so much stress!"
No worries. Many of us struggle through periods of stress not realizing that God has a plan to use stress as a tool of change and strengthening in our lives. Join us this Sunday evening at six as Pastor Campbell begins a 12 week series of messages on surviving stress in our lives.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 7 - "Soaring Over the Scriptures"
The Bible is unlike all other books. A LifeWay 2017 survey found that only 19% of all churchgoers read the Bible daily. This series is designed to combat biblical illiteracy. Each Wednesday evening Pastor Campbell will cover an entire book of the bible. This overview of each book with a lesson outline to take home will give us a fantastic panoramic view of God's Word. Join us each Wednesday evening.
